Closest to a $1200 and up plotter at a fraction of the cost

3/17/2024 I REALLY NEEEEEED THEM TO FIX THE SOFTWARE IT GETTING BETTER IF YOU PAY for there subscriptions but if you don't your experience still suffers quit bad i will say when the cutter is capable do so so so much more. Need the software to improve and the calibration and print and cut line location to change and to better use the camera for better cuts other than that it's a wonderful machine warts and all. { update } 7/17/23 Not sure why but it seems they are getting a little greedy the cost of the machine isn't enough they are looking to suck u dry, again not sure why but even most basic tools are going to be locked behind a pay wall so get pre-paired to pay even more to use this machine {OUT RAGOUS } Sad part is that the machine print an cut and calibration and use still suffers from programing problems, I really hope the fix that soon had to drop a star till that gets address and hopefully they don't get TOO GREEDY :(. (7/17/23) Update I Stand by my last review the most basic of tools are now for sure locked behind pay wall but that's there issue i will not be paying it the cutter cost too much already. That been said i really like the cutter it's the best on the market in my opinion and the software still needs work but have gotten a lot better. there is that at least.

this is a great cutting machine. I look forward to getting to know the machine and software.

Machine itself is super easy to use and fairly intuitive. It cuts quickly, quietly, and smoothly. I love being able to cut off-mat and not being limited by length. The quick test-cut button is amazing...makes it incredibly easy to get the right blade settings without any hair-pulling. The CONS: I hate that there is no pencil/pen holder attachment. I use mine for work, and I have always used pencils/sharpies to draw out posters and other stuff for my classroom for my kids to paint/etc. Not being able to draw is incredibly annoying. I HATE the web-based software. I don't want to have to log in every time I want to work. I don't always have a wifi connection. I wish it worked like all the other software (I still do most of my designing on Make-the-Cut and then just send the SVG file to this for cutting only). Please make a functional pencil/pen holder attachment. Everyone else has this. No excuse to leave it out when the machine has every other feature.

If I had known then, what I know now….my life would have taken off much more professional in this Computer Graphic Design space. This investment is very little, compared to all those other machines that are much slower.
